Hello everyone! I just wanted to do a quick post to let you know I will be taking a break from blogging to focus on my personal life for a while :) When I come back there will be a link to a brand spanking new blog. New name, new layout, & new photographer who will be taking the pictures. I am beyond excited to have a fresh new site & to be able to share my life in a whole new way :) Hope you all have an amazing rest of the summer & you can always follow my Instagram until the new blog launches. See ya in the fall!

xoxo,
Lauren Ann

Daily dose of Luke

Little bear is a moving machine! He is now up on his knees rocking back & forth and doing some very good attempts at downward dog. I am so incredibly not ready for him to be crawling, but it is a friggin riot to watch him scoot backwards across the entire length of the living room floor, while a steady stream of drool falls from his bottom lip. He loves to show off his strength and has begun the phase of "everything goes in my mouth, okay mom?" He is an amazing little eater, is constantly smiling, and his face lights up every time I get him up from a nap. Not to mention he has begun the best phase of all: laughing :)

 Top: Kohl's (old)
Skirt: H&M here
Heels: Anthropologie

I have had my eye on this skirt for quite some time now and finally purchased it in the store the other day. It comes in various colors, but sadly a lot of the pretty hues are sold out online. I love the idea of pairing it with a cropped top, but I have yet to find one that is structured just right, so this flowy one did the trick :)

Hope you all had a great weekend & happy Monday!

Welcome Braelyn!

Last week, my beautiful cousin welcomed her first baby into the world. Braelyn Royse arrived in the middle of the night and Luke and I were honored to be able to go and meet her the very next morning. I snapped some pics (edited by Kris) and we all drooled over her sweet cheeks & little fingers. Even Luke was in awe. I can not wait to watch our two littles grow up together with holidays & family traditions the way we did.
