i love trench coats. i fell in love with them when a serious injury stopped my gymnastics career & i put on the sophomore 20lbs after stopping 4hour practices a day... these coats just cover up anything, anytime. gotta love all black when you're not feeling your best! but that was a long time ago & since then i've worn the crap out of my cheap Old Navy trench coat. to the point where it wasn't even worth donating because the black had faded to a grayish color... and so we move on... to me standing at the outlets and falling in love with this DKNY trench coat. a bit of a splurge, but it is a piece that will last forever, or until it fades to grey ;)

the dress is BCBG that i got on sale of course, the back is open & so cute... the polka dot tights are from Macy's & the shoes are from my favorite place to shop for any sandals or boots: Bass. happy monday!
