today's post is apparently brought to you by Kohls & J.Crew! :) i didn't even realize it until this very second writing this post... the jeans & boots are my favs, they are my go-to... the top is a cute little peplum top & the scarf i stole from my mom because it has little flowers on it. AND since that damn groundhog was a big fat liar, the flowers give a touch of spring & hope for warmer weather.
speaking of warmer weather, it has been raining/snowing all day today, but we got the best news of all! pete got his coast guard orders!! Station Monterey, CA. so if he takes the job or if he declines it, we are headed to California either way & couldn't be more excited about a new chapter. we love the east coast & will be back after a few years, but we are thrilled to go out to the west coast & share in some new adventures together!
*the last pose is specifically for my girl rach. it is called the "heisman trophy" pose. we started it a few years ago & has become a staple pose when taking pictures. try it, it won't disappoint! i'll share more pics of it soon!
