i love this dress. i got it at Gap a few years ago. it is a breezy shift dress with cute little ties and buttons in the back. it was a perfect outfit for another rainy + humid day. my boots are the "find" of the century (says my father in law!) i bought them at Macy's out in California this past spring. they are Coach, originally $400 for 75% off + i had another 20% off because, c'mon, it's Macy's.. i like to pride myself on being a seasoned bargain hunter. i ONLY buy clothes if i have to have it. i am a slow shopper & i take my time to find the perfect pieces at the perfect prices. that way my wardrobe is full of quality staple pieces over a quantity of ones i don't like... that is my biggest advice. take your time. shop at decent stores but in the sale racks! 

my watch is one of my favorite pieces of jewelry. i've had it forever and i bought it at TJmaxx of all places, for dirt cheap compared to the original price & my necklace is from our honeymoon in maui.

p.s. i am slightly embarrassed to admit that all of these wardrobe pictures are taken on an iphone. i have already looked into purchasing a nice camera, but feel the need to do some research before i make such an expensive investment... so hang tight for now!
