over the past week...

 they sure love their cats in Switzerland: they have their own kitty ladders to second floor windows!

 we played even more domino train (it has become a nightly tradition) + crocs does advertising right!

husband & i took lots of cat naps... with lots of cats,

 blizzard nemo hit us with full force... 

that is our driveway under there & our back door!

 i felt like an archaeologist uncovering my poor jeep + hobbes made his own tracks,

& this was the chocolate bear cake i made my mom for her birthday. 

complete with a chocolate frosting, chocolate chip, & chopped up hershey bar filling!

i have a deep love for photographs. my mom was never big on magazines... so it was only on special occasions that she would buy me one. i would run up to my room, get under the covers, and stare at the glossy pages. but it wasn't the celebrity interviews or the "how to" tips... it was the ads that i loved. the beautifully crafted ad campaigns for the top designers & brands. i absolutely loved the use of colors, models, and accessories. when i briefly worked at elite model management fresh out of college, it was a dream come true seeing the models in action & getting to see the fantastic photographs before they ever even became part of a magazine. to this day, editorials are still my favorite. 

and so, enter:  Tumblr. a one stop place for the prettiest images that make their way around the internet. i found it too hard to go through thousands of Tumblrs in order to find my favorite images and pin them to Pinterest, so i decided to start my own. naturally i named it after this personal blog & it has been the most enjoyable part of blogging. i only choose pictures that i truly love, and therefore my Tumblr has turned into the biggest reflection of who i am. below are thumbnails of only a portion of the pictures on my Tumblr, and just by glancing at them, you can easily see my favorite colors and the "vibe" of the whole blog. 

my personality is captured in grays, turquoises, blacks, nature, graphics, and the prettiest details all captured by brilliant photographers. naturally, none of these photos are mine, but visit my tumblr here to find the sources and proper credit to all these pretty web gems & to see more!
