seventeen

today my littlest brother turns seventeen. sigh, where has the time gone that the youngest one of my three brothers is now one year away from college. i feel so old. AND YET, so very happy to be the big sister of an incredibly talented and caring young man.

a name.

I'M NOT GOING TO LIE, it took me forever to come up with a name for a blog. i would come up with something to do with our names or initials and they would either be taken, or look horrible on the screen. it took sitting on the couch with pete (the first thing we do when he comes home from duty) to go aha! "sound to the bay"..his tattoo on his left arm is a nod to our families living on two different coasts. mine live in connecticut, his in california... so there you have it. the long island Sound to the great san fran Bay. -perfect.

WELL, WE FINALLY DID IT. welcome to our blog! i'm Lauren Ann, that's my husband Pete, and this is our little digital scrapbook to document the first years of our marriage and beyond. it is also going to get all the thoughts (and what i like to call creativity) out of my head and into the open. it will be full of inspirational photos from around the web, personal photos, attempts at fashion, & maybe one day some nice camera photos!-i really,really hope you enjoy it!
