over the past week...

i got my first pics from Switzerland (thank you mother in law)... how cute is that building!

& pete and i had breakfast at Cohen's, the best place for bagels

we all played some serious domino train... the most addicting game ever

we went out to the local dive bar with some of our favorite friends

pete put on his brand new skates (an early Valentine's gift from me)

& played pond hockey all day with my brothers + company 

& pete spent quality time on the coast guard boats...

the water looks so pretty, until you realize it is 40degrees!

part of pete and i moving out of our apartment requires a ton of our crap being thrown into the basement... while i was down there sorting through stuff we are donating, i found 3 huge boxes of old pictures that haven't been looked at in 10 years... i promised my mom if i made the mess of going through them, that i would attempt to put them in albums over the next few weeks. these are some gems i found:

*note: pretty much my entire wardrobe as a kid growing up was hand me downs from my older, totally stylish cousins. i love the outfits my mom put together for us kids even when my parents didn't have a lot. its proof that you don't need to have uber expensive wardrobes to have a great childhood, and kids that grow up to be beautiful people inside and out.

soccer + ice cream.

yesterday we all went to my lil brother's soccer game. one of the many perks of being home is getting to see him play. he is so talented and the lucky duck got to go to a liverpool game tonight at fenway park. so jealous. we then stopped at the durham dairy serve and got our favorite ice creams at the famous place. perfect day.

california dreaming

san carlos. our other home. where pete's parents, younger brother matt, + cat reside. back in march we took a trip out there for st patricks day weekend and ran into some rainy weather (pretty much the only rain the whole year) but we had the best time. filled w. outings, homemade dinner + wine nights, trips to san fran, alcatraz + the best part: the cartoon art museum = amazing. we cant wait to get back out there again.
